PRP might shorten recovery time after lipofilling

Adding platelet-rich plasma to the lipo-graft for facial rejuvenation significantly shortened recovery time but did not result in better cosmetic outcomes or patient satisfaction than lipofilling alone, according to a study published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Other studies have associated PRP with improved volume retention after lipofilling.
