Alteraciones Hormonales favorecen caída del cabello.

Hormone Imbalance, Environment May Contribute To Increase In Hair Loss.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer (10/30, Theiss) reports on hair loss, which they call "a growing issue." Most troubling, is that the increase in hair loss is "not just because the population is aging." Indeed, "younger people are experiencing more of it, say dermatologists, and it's not clear why, though hormone levels are usually involved." Says Dr. Melissa Piliang, a dermatologist and hair-loss specialist at the Cleveland Clinic, "Hair loss can come from an intricate interplay of hormones. For example, being overweight or obese affects insulin, testosterone and estrogen levels. Also, the presence of hormone disrupters in our environment may have an effect as well."
