Researchers Say Spironolactone May Be Safe For Treatment Of Alopecia In Breast Cancer Survivors
Medscape (3/26, Jancin, Subscription Publication) reports researchers found in a large retrospective study that "treatment of endocrine therapy-induced alopecia in breast cancer survivors" with spironolactone "was not associated with increased risk of recurrence of the malignancy." The findings were presented in a virtual meeting held by George Washington University's dermatology department.
